The ring die pellet machine is a device used to make wood chip pellets. It can compress biomass materials such as wood chips into high-density, high-energy granular materials. It is one of the important equipment for biomass energy utilization.
The main components of the ring die pellet machine are the pressure roller and the ring die.

Product Analysis

Ring die pelletizer is one of the key equipment in pellet feed production line. The feed is transformed from powder to pellets through four areas:
1. The material is transported into the modulator by the speed-adjustable feeding auger. In order to obtain good pelleting efficiency (improve output and quality), hot steam is added for conditioning. Then, the material is fed through the chute-shaped feeding pipe, through the ring die cover, and with the help of gravity and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the ring die, the material is closely attached to the ring die cover and the inner wall of the mold (feeding area).
2. Under the action of the material-dispensing knife, the material is fed evenly and continuously into the wedge-shaped space (compression area) formed by each roller and the ring die.

3. Because the gap between the outer working surface of the roller and the inner working surface of the ring die is only 0.1-0.3mm, and this gap is basically horizontal, a certain extrusion pressure (extrusion zone) is formed.
4. Due to the feeding of the feed, under the strong extrusion between the die and the roller, the material is compacted and squeezed into the die hole, and formed in the die hole (forming zone).
The material is continuously fed into the pressing zone, extruded and formed, and continuously extruded from the die hole, and cut into various required particle lengths by a cutter with an adjustable distance between the blade and the outer wall of the ring die.
