It is also very important to put cold coal rods into the furnace. The moisture content of the newly made coal rods is about 14%. When entering the furnace, the moisture content of the coal rods can be reduced by 2% to 4%, which not only increases its cold strength and thermal stability, but also avoids the pulverization caused by the rapid evaporation of moisture after entering the furnace. At the same time, it also shortens the thickness of the dry distillation layer, increases the effective carbon layer, and improves the gasification strength.
The bonding effect of the coal rod machine directly affects the quality of the coal rods produced, so it is urgent to improve the bonding effect of the coal rod machine when producing coal rods.
1. Control the moisture content. Too much or too little moisture content will affect the contact effect between coal particles and binders. Only by controlling the moisture content between 12% and 14% can the bonding effect of the coal rod machine be improved;
2. Increase the coking component of the binder itself. The amount of coking component contained in the binder determines the thermal stability of the coal rod, because the coking component plays a bridge role between coal particles in the process of making coal rods. Therefore, increasing the coking component of the binder itself is very important for improving the bonding effect of the coal rod machine.
3. Increase the retting time of coal powder. The raw materials used in processing coal rods must be retting for a period of time. Only in this way can the binder and coal powder be fully contacted. The length of the retting time directly affects the contact time between coal powder and binder. Only by increasing the retting time of coal powder can the bonding effect of the coal rod machine be improved.
