How To Match The Raw Materials in Wood Chip Fuel Pellet Production Line?
Industry Background
In recent years, environmental awareness has increased significantly, leading to almost no coal burning in and outside the country. Against this backdrop, companies have turned to using natural gas, oil or electricity, but the cost of using these energy sources is relatively high, which has brought a considerable economic burden to companies. However, the biomass pellet fuel production line came into being. It uses waste wood scraps, straw, wood chaff, peanut shells, husks, etc. as raw materials, and can be made through simple processing. It has low cost and high combustion efficiency.
Raw material system
Raw material compatibility analysis
Wooden raw materials (pine/fir, moisture content required 12-15%)
Agricultural residues (rice husk/corn stalk, 1-2% binder required)
New raw materials (palm fruit bunches/coffee shells, calorific value comparison)
Pretreatment standards
Crushing particle size (3-5mm screen pass rate ≥95%)
Drying control (drum dryer outlet moisture 10-12%)

| Model | Power | Mold Hole | Capacity for industrial solid | Capacity for biomass | Pellet size(mm) |
| MKYK-36 | 45kw | 36 | 0.5-1.0 | 1.0-1.5 | 32*32*50-100 |
| MKYK-48 | 75kw | 48 | 1.0-1.5 | 1.5-2.5 | 32*32*50-100 |
| MKYK-72 | 110kw | 72 | 2.0-2.5 | 2.5-3.5 | 32*32*50-100 |
| MKYK-90 | 132kw | 90 | 2.0-2.5 | 3.5-5.0 | 32*32*50-100 |
| MKYK-120 | 200kw | 120 | 3.0-4.0 | 4.0-6.0 | 32*32*50-100 |
| MKYK-150 | 250kw | 150 | 4.0-6.0 | 6.0-10.0 | 32*32*50-100 |
Production Process
At present, the main equipment required for small production lines includes crushers, pulverizers, biomass pellet machines, belt conveyors, drying equipment, coolers and other auxiliary equipment.
It is widely used in many fields. Large industrial enterprises, such as chemical fiber plants, steel plants, garment factories, electronics factories and automobile manufacturers, all need boilers to heat water or produce products. At the same time, the internal canteens of enterprises often use biomass pellet fuel for burning.
Core equipment
Hammer crusher (55kW, processing capacity 5-8t/h)
Ring die pelletizer (compression ratio 1:5-1:8, die hole diameter 6-10mm)
Counterflow cooling tower (processing capacity 10t/h, temperature after cooling ≤ room temperature + 5℃)
Common Problem Solving
The quality of pellets directly affects the performance and use of downstream products. The reasons for substandard quality may include raw material problems, uneven mixing or equipment failure.
Solutions:
1. Raw material inspection: Ensure that the raw materials used meet the specifications and avoid using damp or deteriorated materials.
2. Adjust the formula: According to production needs, reasonably adjust the raw material ratio to ensure uniform mixing.
3. Regularly maintain equipment: Clean and inspect the equipment regularly to ensure normal operation of the equipment and avoid deterioration of pellet quality due to equipment failure.
