What Are The Process Of Biomass Fuel Pellets?

The first is the raw material yard. The raw material of biomass wood chip pellet fuel is mainly sawdust. In order to ensure the normal and continuous production of fuel, it is necessary to ensure the raw material demand for production for at least 15 days. Therefore, about 500-600 tons of raw materials need to be stacked.

The second is screening. The raw materials are transported to the screening machine through the auger conveyor for screening, and larger wood blocks or nails and other debris are removed.

The third is drying. Wood chip combustion pellets have strict requirements on the moisture content of raw materials. After screening, the raw materials are transported to the drum dryer through the auger conveyor for hot air drying.

The fourth step is cyclone separation. After the raw materials are dried, there is a lot of moisture in the process of conveying. The moisture is discharged through the cyclone separator.

The fifth step is material transportation. The logistics transportation of this system requires corresponding conveying equipment. According to the needs, screw conveyors, auger conveyors and elevators can be used to transport materials to the corresponding equipment.

The sixth step is granulation and molding: the wood chip combustion pellet molding machine is the key equipment of the production line. The equipment can be used for different raw materials such as sawdust, corn stalks, bean stalks, cotton stalks and peanut shells. The density of the processed wood chip combustion pellets can reach 1.0-1.3 tons/cubic meter.

The seventh step is cooling. The temperature of the discharged wood chip combustion pellets is as high as 80~90℃, the structure is relatively loose, and it is easy to break. It must go through a countercurrent cooling system. After cooling to room temperature, it can be bagged and stored or sent to the silo through a belt conveyor and an elevator. This set of equipment is equipped with a cooling fan and a cyclone separator, which can return the separated powder to the previous process for re-granulation.

The last step is screening. After cooling, the pellet fuel is screened with a vibrating screen. The crushed materials are screened out to ensure the quality of the wood chip combustion pellets. The screened crushed materials are returned to the previous process for re-granulation.
