What Are the Benefits of Using a biomass briquette press?
content
The core environmental advantage of the biofuel briquette machine lies in its efficient resource utilization of biomass waste, reducing environmental pollution. my country generates a large amount of forestry waste (wood chips, branches, tree stumps) and agricultural waste (straw, peanut shells) annually. Traditional treatment methods mostly involve incineration or disposal. Incineration produces large amounts of PM2.5 and carbon dioxide, polluting the atmosphere, while disposal occupies land and breeds bacteria. The briquette machine can process these wastes into wood chips, achieving 100% resource utilization. One ton of forestry waste can be processed into 0.8 tons of wood chips, replacing 0.6 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.5 tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by 0.015 tons, effectively reducing air pollution.
Compared to wood pellet machines, biomass brick presses treat waste more thoroughly and offer more significant environmental benefits. Briquette machines can process large pieces of waste such as branches and stumps (after simple crushing), while wood pellet machines have poor adaptability to large pieces of waste, requiring fine crushing, resulting in some waste not being efficiently utilized. Furthermore, briquette extruders produce no wastewater during processing, and the small amount of dust generated can be recycled as fuel, resulting in no secondary pollution. The volatile matter (tar, methane) produced during carbonization can be recovered and reused as fuel for the briquette extruder or carbonization furnace, achieving energy recycling and further reducing carbon emissions. In contrast, wood pellet mills, if the raw material pretreatment is improper, are prone to dust pollution, and lack a volatile matter recovery process, making their environmental value slightly inferior to briquette extruders.
Biomass briquette extruders can also contribute to improving the rural ecological environment and promoting rural revitalization. In rural areas, processing waste such as straw and wood chips into fuel briquettes using briquette extruders can solve the problems of indiscriminate dumping and burning pollution of rural waste, while providing farmers with additional income. Some rural cooperatives have formed a "waste collection-processing-sales" industrial chain by configuring briquette extruders, which not only improves the ecological environment but also creates employment, achieving a win-win situation for both environmental protection and the economy.
Similar to the wood pellet machine project, the biomass press machine project can enjoy national and local environmental protection subsidies and waste resource utilization subsidies. These policy supports further enhance its environmental value and market competitiveness, and help the project achieve sustainable development.
