Screw Extrusion Type: Continuous Extrusion + Friction Heating. The screw extrusion type (sawdust log press machine) is the most widely used model, suitable for large-scale continuous production. A motor drives the screw shaft to rotate at high speed. The screw shaft pushes the loose raw material forward through a gradually narrowing structure, naturally creating a high pressure of 15-30 MPa. The intense friction between the raw material and the screw shaft and forming cavity generates a high temperature of 160-200℃, causing the lignin to melt and bind, ultimately being extruded into a columnar shape from the forming hole. It is then cut to a fixed length by a cutter, with an hourly output of 1-5 tons.
Hydraulic Type: Intermittent Pressurization + Constant Temperature Heating. The small hydraulic wood briquette making machine adopts an intermittent working mechanism, providing strong forming stability and suitable for low-fiber, high-moisture raw materials. During operation, the hydraulic system drives the pressure head to push the raw material in the hopper into the forming mold, applying a high pressure of 20-40 MPa. Simultaneously, a heating device on the outside of the forming mold maintains a constant temperature of approximately 180°C to ensure sufficient softening of the lignin. After pressurization, the pressure head returns, and the formed block is ejected from the mold, entering the next cycle. The finished product has uniform density and a breakage rate of less than 5%, suitable for processing high-end carbonized billets.
Flat Die Wood Chip Briquette Machine: This machine features a simple structure and easy operation, suitable for small workshops and rural settings. The motor drives the main shaft to rotate the pressure rollers, which press the raw material on the flat die into the die holes. The extrusion through the die holes forms a columnar shape. A heating device can be installed on the outside of the die holes to assist in softening. The forming pressure can reach 10-20 MPa, with an hourly output of 300-800 kg. Wear parts (pressure rollers, flat die) are easy to replace. Some models can be equipped with a diesel engine, suitable for scenarios without a stable power supply.
