How does a biomass briquette press machine work?
Product Description
Core Principle: Lignin Self-Adhesive Molding. The core working logic of the biomass briquette making machine utilizes the lignin naturally present in biomass raw materials (wood chips, straw, etc.) to achieve self-adhesion through the synergistic effect of "high pressure + high temperature." Lignin is solid at room temperature, but softens and melts when the temperature rises to 160-200℃, forming a natural binding colloid. Simultaneously, the briquette press applies high pressure of 10-30MPa, tightly compressing the molten lignin with the loose raw materials. After cooling, the lignin solidifies, forming structurally stable block fuel. This is the universal operating basis of all biomass briquette press machines.

Power Transmission Module: Providing Stable Driving Force. Power transmission is a prerequisite for the operation of the biofuel briquette press machine and mainly consists of a motor, reducer, and coupling. The motor output power is reduced and amplified by the reducer before being transmitted to the main shaft and actuators (pressure rollers, screw shaft, etc.), ensuring sufficient power support during the extrusion process. Small briquetting machines typically have motors with power ranging from 15-37kW, suitable for production capacities of 500kg-2 tons per hour; larger models have power exceeding 55kW, capable of continuous high-intensity operation and preventing downtime due to excessive load.

Pressure Generation Module: Achieving Raw Material Densification. The pressure generation module is the core actuator of the biomass brick press machine. Different types of briquetting machines have slightly different pressure generation methods, but all aim for "precise pressure application and uniform force distribution." Hydraulic briquetting machines apply pressure through a cylinder-driven pressure head, offering strong pressure control; screw-type briquetting machines rely on a gradually contracting helical shaft structure to push the raw material and generate pressure, suitable for continuous operation. Both methods allow the raw material to expel interstitial air under high pressure, achieving a densification effect of 1.0-1.3g/cm³.
