Introduction to the process flow of straw compactor
The straw blocks produced by the straw compactor overcome the weaknesses of light weight, large volume, and susceptibility to external conditions such as wind, rain, snow, and fire during utilization, meeting the requirements for commercialization. Pressing straw biomass into blocks can be used as a new type of biomass fuel to replace coal for various purposes such as cooking, heating, and power generation. Compared to mineral fuels, biomass fuels have less environmental pollution, are easy to obtain, affordable, and abundant in resources. As long as there are green plants growing year after year in areas, this resource will never be depleted. In the current situation where minerals such as coal and oil are extremely scarce, the widespread use of biomass fuel blocks will play an important role in solving the energy problems in rural areas of China. Straw compactor can also be used to produce forage and edible crop straw into forage blocks. After maturation, the forage has good palatability and is stored for a long time without spoilage, making it easy to store. This provides a wider market for resources in forage producing areas and plays an important role in protecting grasslands and developing captive animal husbandry. At the same time, grass blocks are also an important disaster relief reserve material. Placing them in disaster areas is not only the feed for saving cattle and sheep, but also the urgently needed fuel. The industrial and sideline industries that use biomass such as straw as raw materials, and directly produce straw blocks in the raw material production area using a briquetting machine, can save a lot of costs in raw material storage and transportation, fire management, and greatly expand the source of raw materials.
Crush the straw or grass to be compressed into small pieces within 30 millimeters, with a moisture content controlled within the range of 15-25%. The material is then fed into the feed port of the straw compactor through a feeding conveyor. The material is forced to be squeezed into blocks from the mold (after cooling down (with a moisture content not exceeding 14%), and packaged in bags. The straw compactor is a specialized equipment that uses crop straw, branches, grass and other biomass raw materials to squeeze them into blocks. To crush straw biomass into blocks, first use a hay cutter or kneading machine to crush it into raw materials with a length of 20-30 millimeters and moderate moisture content, and then enter the straw briquetting machine for processing and squeezing into blocks, with a cross-sectional area size of 32 × 32-80 millimeters in length, with a block density of 0.6-1.0 grams per cubic centimeter, convenient for transportation and storage.
