Solutions: Use the "clumpy when squeezed, crumbles easily when released" method to judge the moisture content. If too dry, spray a small amount of water; if too wet, spread out to dry. Adjust the gap between the pressure roller and the die to 0.2-0.3mm using a thin iron sheet. Screen the raw material to ensure the particle size is within the 2-5mm range. Prevention: Before mass production, conduct a small-scale test with a small amount of raw material to confirm that the parameters are suitable before mass production.
The second common problem: Clogged feed inlet. The symptom is raw material accumulation at the feed inlet of the vertical ring die pellet mill, preventing normal feeding. Causes: Raw material clumps that have not been crushed, excessive feeding speed, and excessively high raw material moisture content causing adhesion. Solutions: 1. Immediately stop feeding and clean the feed inlet of clumps and residual material with tools; reduce the feeding speed and adopt a "small amount, multiple times" feeding method; re-crush clumps of material, and if the material is too wet, dry it before feeding. Preventive measures: Ensure the raw material is loose and free of clumps during processing, and add it evenly during feeding, avoiding a large, sudden addition.
2. The third common problem: Motor tripping and inability to start. Symptoms include sudden tripping during operation, and failure to start after resetting. Causes: Overloading due to excessive feeding, dust clogging the motor's cooling vents, and unstable power supply voltage. Solutions: Clean excess material from the feed inlet and reduce the feeding amount; clean dust from the motor's cooling vents to ensure proper heat dissipation; check the household circuit voltage and avoid simultaneously operating other high-power appliances; if the voltage is unstable, a voltage regulator can be used. Preventive measures: Monitor the motor current in real time during production to avoid prolonged overload; clean the motor's cooling vents regularly.
3. The fourth common problem: Severe vibration and abnormal noise from the ring die wood pellet making machine. Symptoms include significant shaking during operation, accompanied by a harsh noise. Causes: Loose equipment anchor bolts, uneven gap between the pressure roller and the die, hard impurities in the raw material. Solutions: After stopping the machine, tighten the equipment anchor bolts and all connecting bolts; readjust the gap between the pressure roller and the die to ensure uniformity around the edges; clean the hard impurities from the raw material and check the impurity removal process. Prevention: Check the bolt tightness before starting the machine and strengthen the impurity removal process for the raw material.
Fifth Common Problem: Die Hole Blockage. Symptoms include raw material failing to extrude from the die hole or a sudden drop in output. Causes: Excessive oil content in the raw material, excessively fine raw material particle size, failure to clean the die hole after production. Solutions: Disassemble the die, use a fine steel rod to unclog the lumpy raw material in the die hole, and clean the die surface with a brush; mix in woody raw materials to reduce the oil content; adjust the pulverizer screen to ensure the raw material particle size meets the standards. Prevention: Thoroughly clean the die hole after production to avoid hardened residue; avoid processing raw materials with excessive oil content.
