How to Adjust the Temperature of the Best wood chip pellet machine in Different Seasons?
Biomass Wood Pellet Machine Adjustment Techniques
Winter Adjustment Techniques: In winter, the ambient temperature is low (0-15℃), and the raw material temperature is also low. The heating system of the ring die wood pelletizer machine easily loses heat, requiring a temperature increase of 5-10℃ to ensure the raw material is fully softened. Simultaneously, extend the preheating time from the usual 5 minutes to 10 minutes before starting the machine in winter to ensure the pressure rollers, molds, and pressing chamber are fully heated, preventing poor pellet formation due to insufficient localized temperature.
Summer Adjustment Techniques: In summer, the ambient temperature is high (25-35℃). The Flat Die Biomass pelletizer mill itself generates heat during operation, easily leading to overheating. It is necessary to appropriately lower the temperature by 5-8℃. If the moisture content of the raw material is slightly increased due to humidity in summer, the feed rate can be appropriately increased while lowering the temperature to shorten the residence time of the raw material in the pressing chamber and reduce the problem of insufficient moisture evaporation.
Spring and Autumn Adjustment Techniques: Spring and autumn have moderate ambient temperatures (15-25℃), making them the easiest seasons for processing. Temperature adjustments for the small wood pellet machine can be based on the raw material's baseline temperature; no significant adjustments are needed. In spring and autumn, it's crucial to monitor fluctuations in raw material moisture content. In spring, the air is humid, and the moisture content of raw materials tends to rise; therefore, the temperature can be increased by 2-3°C. In autumn, the air is dry, and the moisture content of raw materials tends to decrease; therefore, the temperature can be decreased by 2-3°C to ensure stable pellet formation.
Adjustment precautions during seasonal transitions: When transitioning from winter to spring, or from summer to autumn, do not adjust the temperature all at once. Adjust gradually, by 3-5°C each time, and test-process for 1-2 hours before continuing the adjustment until the pellet formation meets the standard. For example, if 105°C is used for processing hardwood in winter, lower the temperature to 102°C in spring, test-process for 2 hours, and if the pellet formation is normal, then lower the temperature to 98°C, eventually stabilizing at 95°C.
