Emergency Handling Guide: What to Do Immediately When domestic wood pellet machine Suddenly Stops Rotating?

content

Step 1: Safety and Risk Avoidance - Eliminate the Source of Risk. This is the most crucial first step. Regardless of the cause of the stoppage, immediately shut off the main power supply to the small biomass pellet maker machine. Unplug the power cord (for small machines) or turn off the main switch in the distribution box (for large machines) to prevent the equipment from suddenly restarting and causing a safety accident during subsequent operations. Simultaneously, evacuate surrounding personnel and place a "Do Not Start" sign next to the equipment to prevent accidental operation. If the motor was hot or smoking before stopping, wait for it to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before proceeding with any further operations.

Step 2: Preliminary Determination of the Wood Chip Pellet Maker Machine Fault Type to Narrow Down the Troubleshooting Scope. Quickly diagnose the problem through three simple observations: First, check the motor's condition. If the motor is hot and has a burnt smell, it's likely overloaded or damaged. Second, rotate the mechanical parts. After turning off the power, manually rotate the pressure roller shaft. If it's difficult to rotate or jammed, it's a mechanical fault (pressure roller jamming, bearing damage, etc.). If it rotates smoothly, it's an electrical fault or material blockage. Third, check the material and discharge. If material accumulates at the inlet and no particles are discharged from the outlet, it's likely overloaded or the die is blocked.

The third step: Core troubleshooting to pinpoint the specific fault. Based on the initial assessment, conduct targeted troubleshooting: If overload is suspected, check the feed rate, material moisture content, and particle size; observe if the die is blocked. If a mechanical fault is suspected, open the inspection door and check for impurities in the gap between the pressure roller and the die, whether the bearings are damaged, and whether there are abnormal noises from the gearbox. If an electrical fault is suspected, check the power supply, leakage protection device, wiring, and motor. Handle tools gently during troubleshooting to avoid collisions with biomass sawdust pellet machine parts, especially delicate electrical components and the die.

Step 4: Temporary Troubleshooting and Quick Handling of Simple Faults. For simple, resolvable faults (such as raw material accumulation, impurities blocking the circuit, loose wiring, or overload protector tripping), you can handle them yourself: clean up the accumulated raw materials and impurities, tighten the wiring terminals, and reset the overload protector. For complex faults (such as motor damage, gear jamming, or severely damaged bearings), do not disassemble the machine yourself. Mark the fault and contact a professional repair technician. For example, if the stoppage is caused by raw material accumulation, you can try restarting after cleaning it; if impurities are blocking the pressure roller, remove the impurities and check the condition of the pressure roller.

Step 5: Restart and Test the Machine to Confirm Normal Operation. After troubleshooting, start the equipment and let it idle for 3-5 minutes. Observe whether the equipment runs smoothly, whether there is any abnormal noise, and whether the motor current is normal. After confirming that there are no problems, add raw materials at a uniform speed in small amounts to gradually restore the normal feeding speed. At the same time, continuously monitor the equipment status. If the operation is stable, the fault has been resolved; if the machine stops again, you need to troubleshoot the fault again.
