Characteristics of biomass pellet fuel:
Biomass energy is developing rapidly worldwide due to its renewable, low-carbon, green and environmentally friendly characteristics. It has become the fourth largest energy reservoir after the three traditional fossil energy sources of coal, oil and natural gas. The so-called biomass is organic matter generated by plants through photosynthesis, mainly including agricultural and forestry waste, animal manure, energy crops and domestic garbage, etc. It is a clean fuel that is made into various shapes and burned in a special biomass burner through processes such as crushing, mixing, extrusion and drying. In addition to environmental protection and energy saving, the biggest advantage of biomass fuel is that the thermal energy utilization rate can reach 85%-90%.

Biomass pellet fuel produces smoke when it is burned because of incomplete combustion or the burning materials are complicated.
The treatment methods are as follows:
Strengthen air circulation and maintain the singleness of the burning material.
In the case of oxygen enrichment, complete combustion will be smokeless.
Environmental protection equipment can be used to solve the problem. When biomass pellets such as firewood, rice husks, and sawdust are burned, the smoke is a kind of carbon black particle smoke containing tar, which is a high-temperature fire smoke. The carbon black particles are hydrophobic. The efficiency of simple water washing is not good. Tar paste bags and simple dust removal are also not good. The method of water washing + dust collector is more ideal, which can achieve smokeless emission, pass environmental impact assessment, and the equipment only needs to be maintained once every six months.
