How to Make a small wood fuel pellet making machine Last Longer?

content

Standardized operation can reduce unnecessary wear and tear on wood fuel pellet making machines. The core principle is to adhere to the rules of "inspection before startup, monitoring during operation, and cleaning after shutdown." Proper preparation before startup is fundamental: Before starting the equipment, a comprehensive inspection of the core components of the wood pellet machine is essential, including ensuring the gap between the pressure roller and the die is uniform (0.1-0.3mm), that all connecting bolts are tightened, that the lubrication level is adequate, and that the safety guard is securely installed. Clean any residual material inside the equipment, especially any clumps in the die holes and feed inlet, to prevent material blockage and motor overload after startup. Check that auxiliary equipment (crusher, dryer, conveyor) is functioning properly to ensure smooth material supply and conveying, avoiding idling or feed interruptions. Furthermore, the equipment must be run idle for 3-5 minutes to preheat and fully lubricate all components, preventing accelerated wear due to insufficient lubrication during cold starts.

Standardized operation during production is crucial: First, maintain uniform feeding. Precisely control the feeding speed using a frequency converter or manually to avoid overloading the equipment with a sudden influx of raw materials, or causing the mini wood pellet machine to idle due to insufficient feeding. Uniform feeding keeps the motor current stable at 80%-90% of its rated value, reducing the load on the motor and transmission system. Second, monitor the equipment's operating status in real time. Record the motor current, equipment temperature, and pellet forming effect every 10 minutes. If the current consistently exceeds the standard, immediately reduce the feeding rate. If the equipment temperature is too high (above 90℃), increase the feeding speed or stop the machine to cool it down, preventing overheating and aging of components. If abnormal vibration or noise occurs, immediately stop the machine for inspection, eliminating impurities, blockages, or loose parts. Production with malfunctions is strictly prohibited.

Proper cleaning and maintenance after shutdown are essential: After production ends, first shut down the feeding system, and only shut down the main unit after all residual raw materials have been completely pressed and discharged to prevent hardening of residue. Thoroughly clean all parts of the equipment, using a brush to clean the feed inlet and pressing chamber, a fine steel rod to unclog the die holes, and a cloth to wipe away dust from the equipment surface, as dust accumulation accelerates component corrosion. Apply lubricating oil to lubrication points and cover them with dust covers to prevent dust from entering component gaps. Finally, check the condition of vulnerable parts, record the findings, and prepare for the next production run.

Additional operational reminders: Operators must undergo professional training and be familiar with the working principles and operating procedures of the Vertical Ring Die Pellet Mill Machine; avoid frequent start-ups and shutdowns, as these cause components to repeatedly bear impact loads, accelerating wear; establish an operational assessment mechanism to ensure that standardized operating procedures are implemented effectively.
