One of the core advantages of the hydraulic biomass briquette press is its wide range of raw material compatibility, enabling it to efficiently process various biomass raw materials with lower requirements for raw material quality. This contrasts sharply with the stringent requirements for raw material particle size and moisture content in the Wood Chip Pellet Making Machine. In terms of raw material type, the briquette press is compatible with a variety of raw materials, including wood chips, sawdust, branches, straw, peanut shells, rice husks, and palm shells. Whether it's forestry waste, agricultural waste, or processing scraps, it can handle them all. While the wood pellet machine can also process various raw materials, it has poor compatibility with low-fiber, loosely textured materials such as straw and peanut shells, easily leading to problems like molding difficulties and die blockage, requiring the addition of binders or optimized pretreatment processes.

 

In terms of raw material particle size and moisture content compatibility, the charcoal briquette press has a higher tolerance for error. Regarding particle size, briquette machines are suitable for a range of 2-8mm, eliminating the need for excessive crushing. Larger particles can be incorporated into the finished product through extrusion, reducing energy consumption and costs associated with the crushing process. In contrast, wood pellet mills require particle size control between 2-5mm; larger particles easily clog the die holes, necessitating repeated crushing and increasing processing costs. Regarding moisture content, briquette machines are suitable for a range of 8%-12%, slightly lower than wood pellet mills (12%-15%), but are more tolerant of raw material moisture fluctuations. Slightly exceeding the limit can be quickly evaporated by heating the forming chamber, eliminating the need for complex moisture adjustment processes. Wood pellet mills, however, are sensitive to moisture content fluctuations; excessively high or low moisture content leads to poor pellet formation, requiring precise control.

 

The hydraulic sawdust briquette press can also process some low-quality raw materials, further expanding the sources of raw materials. For raw materials with slight mold, small amounts of impurities (hard impurities need to be removed beforehand), and uneven fiber content, briquette presses can achieve stable molding through high-pressure extrusion and heating softening. Wood pellet machines, however, are poorly suited to these low-quality raw materials; moldy raw materials affect pellet combustion performance, and impurities easily wear down the pressure rollers and molds, leading to equipment malfunctions. Furthermore, the sawdust briquette press can process wet materials that have undergone simple drying, eliminating the need for specialized dryers. This is particularly suitable for rural areas lacking drying equipment, further reducing raw material processing costs.

 

The wide availability of raw materials and the flexibility of adaptation allow the biomass briquette press to be quickly deployed in various regions. Whether in mountainous areas rich in forestry resources or rural areas with abundant agricultural waste, it can efficiently utilize local raw materials for production-an advantage that wood pellet processing equipment cannot match.
