Factors Affecting Sawdust Charcoal Extruder Machines
Product Description
Temperature Parameter: Core Control Indicator, Determining the Degree of Carbonization
Temperature is a core influencing factor in the working principle of the sawdust charcoal making machine. Precise temperature control is required at each stage: drying stage 100-200℃, pyrolysis stage 200-400℃, carbonization stage 400-600℃. Excessive temperature leads to over-carbonization of the charcoal blocks (making them brittle), while insufficient temperature results in incomplete volatile matter release (low calorific value). The dense sawdust briquettes produced by the briquetting machine buffer temperature fluctuations, reducing the impact of temperature deviations on the carbonization effect, and making it easier to control the degree of carbonization compared to loose sawdust.

Oxygen Content: Controlling the Degree of Oxidation, Preventing Combustion
The wood chip charcoal extruder needs to operate in an oxygen-deficient environment, with the oxygen content controlled between 3% and 5%. If the oxygen content is too high, the sawdust briquettes will burn to ash, violating the principle of carbonization; if it is too low, the pyrolysis rate will be slow, and efficiency will decrease. Dense raw materials from briquetting machines reduce dead zones in the furnace, ensuring even oxygen distribution and facilitating precise control. Loose sawdust, on the other hand, easily forms air channels, leading to localized excessive oxygen levels and increasing the risk of combustion.
Raw Material Form: Briquetting Machine Determines Suitability
The form of the raw material directly affects the efficiency and quality of the sawdust log making machine. Unprocessed loose sawdust tends to clump during carbonization, resulting in high losses. Broiler-formed sawdust rods have uniform density and stable shape, improving heat transfer efficiency and shortening the carbonization cycle (from 8 hours to 5-6 hours). Furthermore, the briquetting machine allows for adjustment of the sawdust rod diameter (20-50mm). Smaller diameters result in more uniform carbonization. The briquetting machine mold specifications must be matched to the furnace dimensions.

Heating Rate: Affects Volatile Matter Recovery
The heating rate should ideally be controlled between 5-10℃/min. Too high a rate can cause volatile matter to overflow rapidly, making full recovery impossible, and the wood chips are prone to breakage. Too slow a rate results in excessively long processing cycles and low efficiency. Wood chips pressed by a charcoal briquette extruder machine exhibit strong thermal stability and can adapt to slightly higher heating rates (8-10℃/min), while loose wood chips can only adapt to rates of 5-6℃/min. This further demonstrates the auxiliary value of the briquette machine in implementing the working principle of the carbonization machine.
